Spec Emails: Fuel Goods Welcome Series

Client
Fuel Goods offers subscription boxes containing high-quality nutrition for athletes at an affordable rate.
Challenge
The brand needed to establish rapport with newly subscribed members of its mailing list.
Prospective clients regularly displayed interest in Fuel Goods, and the company added many emails to its list. However, the company never greeted clients with welcome messages that introduced the brand.
Without welcome messages, brands miss out on creating a strong first impression and establishing trust with indecisive customers.
Solution
I crafted three welcome emails for newly subscribed clients. I wrote these emails from the CEO's perspective to express genuine gratitude for joining the community.
Clients would receive one email daily for three days. These messages would introduce the brand's origin, explain why the CEO cares deeply about her work, and explain how Fuel Goods can benefit the client today.
The emails guide prospects toward engaging with the brand’s signature product, The Runnerbox. After properly introducing the brand, Fuel Goods inspires more clients to invest in its mission.
