Spec Emails: Fuel Goods Sales Series

Client

Fuel Goods offers subscription boxes containing high-quality nutrition for athletes at an affordable rate.

Challenge

Fuel Goods had to promote its signature product, the RunnerBox. After selling the product for over a decade, the company released a new version to further entice its audience.

The product required an email campaign to inform clients about the updated version before its release date. The messages had to motivate readers to visit the sales page and purchase the product.

Solution

I crafted six sales emails promoting the release of The RunnerBox. I wrote these messages from the CEO’s perspective to help express enthusiasm about the release.

Clients received a maximum of one email daily for one week, with the last email arriving on the product’s release date.

My messages informed clients about the product's benefits, overcame objections regarding price and quality, and inspired confidence in the brand through social proof.
