Client
Cheetos is an American snack brand known for its cheesy flavor and signature orange dust.
Challenge
Cheetos needed a landing page to market its upcoming college sweepstakes, where students enter their emails on the form.
Prospective clients are familiar with the Cheetos brand but most likely have not subscribed to its mailing list. Adding more emails is crucial to enhancing Cheetos’ marketing efforts in the future.
College students have many snack options and responsibilities requiring their attention. Therefore, the sweepstakes must have a catchy name and a landing page that presents clear value to students.
Solution
I named the contest “Easy Cheesy College Sweepstakes” to address the intended audience and use rhyme to make the name easy to remember.
The messaging and call to action are straightforward: If you give Cheetos your information, you can win free snacks throughout college. The value is clear, and the landing page is shareable through the FB link.
It is important to note that the complete contest rules will appear under the landing page. These rules clarify who is eligible, which institutions match the criteria, and other necessary legal information.
