*This is a spec project. I was not paid by the company to complete this task.
Client
Bayer is a German pharmaceutical company that provides over-the-counter (OTC) drugs worldwide.
Challenge
The brand needed to market its new On-the-Go aspirin, which comes in smaller-sized bottles with easy-to-open lids.
Prospective clients are professionals ages 35–50 who face a lot of stress daily. They are familiar with aspirin medication but are unlikely to search for new product variations.
Bayer decided to release a banner ad that would draw traffic to its site. Clients would learn about stress and headache prevention and have the opportunity to order Bayer On-the-Go bottles with free shipping.
Solution
I collaborated with a graphic designer to create a three-frame banner ad communicating headache relief.
With banner ads, you have 2-3 seconds to grab your audience’s attention. Rather than selling the product directly, each frame promises a solution to headache pain.
Once the prospective client clicks on the banner to discover the cure for headaches, the ad redirects them to the product page for Bayer On-the-Go aspirin to begin a purchase.
